The largest indoor rainforest in the world or the tallest slides in Germany. No need to travel thousands of miles to enjoy the idyllic landscapes. 60 km south of Berlin (Germany), the direction of Brandenburg is taken to discover the Tropical Islands (exceptionally large: 66,000 square meters, 360 meters long and 107 meters high).
Open since 2004, Tropical Islands can accommodate about 7,000 visitors a day. Originally this was to host an airship hangar. But the company went bankrupt CargoLifters. After purchasing the site, Tanjong Public Limited has decided to turn into a tourist complex only 70 million euros.
Tropical Islands is a mixture
happiness, relaxation and paradise. Tourists can relax in the tropical village consists of typical houses in Thailand, Bali or the Amazon region. The rainforest alone has 50,000 plants. This breathtaking scenery also hides Jacuzzis, saunas. Travelers can also relax by the tropical sea (tropical pool of 4400 m²) or Lagoon Bali (pool 1200 m²). Everything is made to spend with a shopping mall, hotels and restaurants. The site is even equipped with a balloon which allows visitors to admire the stunning views of the complex. Various performances are presented in the afternoon and evening.
